I'm happy you found my portfolio and hope you enjoy looking at my images. A lot of time and effort has gone in to creating these images and I am always happy when people tell me that they enjoyed watching them.
In 2014 I started working onboard Expedition Vessels as a Hotel Manager and soon was caught by the 'Polar Bug' sailing to Antarctica and the north pole, specifically Svalbard and Greenland. As many of the guests onboard were professional wildlife photographers my interest quickly went this way, which of course led me to buy my first camera; a canon 600D. Once you start though I quickly noticed that better equipment was needed and bought my Canon 6D with a variety of lenses.
The Polar regions are some of the most diverse and spectacular areas in the world. From the dramatic mountains, glaciers, ice fields and wildlife of the Antarctic Peninsula, the desolate areas of the Ross Sea, the huge abundance of wildlife in South Georgia and the Falkland Islands and of course the beauty of the North Pole, the polar bears and the amazing scenery in Greenland, these areas deserve our respect and demand our attention.
Lately I have been going towards warmer areas as well, like the Kimberley in Australia. A spectacular area of our planet that I would encourage people to visit if they ever have the chance.
In a way I hope that with my images I can convince people to pay more attention what they do in their day to day lives and work towards a better stewardship of our planet.
Enjoy the images, if you see something that you would like to buy, please have a look at the 'buy this image' page.

Thank you
